Turt and Torrie

Here are my 2 new friends... Turt and Torrie... Yeah a couple of RES (Red Eared Slider)... Well, I should've introduced them like a week ago but Turt the male turtle was ill... Swollen eye due to malnutrition... The pet shop isn't feeding them well, I guess... I bought it last week and when I brought it home Turt did not want to open it's eyes... So I checked the internet and found out a lot of cases started from swollen eyes... Well, I was like freak out...

Turt The Brave One... Too Brave... Strong, Fast but Foolish... (one of the day it will really fall from high places *ish*)

Then there is this forum where they said it can be saved... just need clean and warm water and more nutrition... Well, I didn't have a water heater and it is too expensive to buy one... so I try to bring the both of them out under the sun. Then after 2 days Turt is able to open his eyes again... but only for a few minutes... I fed them live worm and also fishes to boost their nutrient intake...
I was planning to bring it to a vet... then Turt open his eyes yesterday and mantained till today... it healed... That's why I let them have a photo shooting session... haha

Torrie The Shy One... not actually shy... it's scared... this one is cautious but sometimes over cautious... Hmmm 2 Turtles 2 different Characters...

P.S. : Want to see it clearer then you have to come to my house... haha... my build in camera sux... wahaha...

White Tiger & Chimp Mama

I've got this e-mail from a friend. This is so wonderful that I wanted to share with everyone. Baby Tiger were taken care by a Chimp Mama. Can you imagine that supposedly enemies in the nature were brought together by fate and a new relationship was formed? The fear towards the Tiger was over-shadowed by the chimp's motherly senses. The animals are learning to accept others without discrimination. The chimp take care of the tiger as though it was its own Young. Despite the threat of being hurt, the mother chimp continues to take care of the tiger.

My Favourite Picture in the e-mail.

There's a lot of things that we could learn from these animals' behaviour. Us humans were too full of ourselves and didn't want to learn from the nature like how we did decades ago. We tend to forget where we came from and what we are supposed to do. We are chasing fame, power and money. Totally forgotten all about preserving the harmony among us and the nature. Can there be a day where all animals act this way and does not discriminate among their animal kingdom? Can we be the same and stop the discrimination and live peacefully? This is an open question... only the future leaders can answer. One leader may not be able to create peace, all leaders should unite to bring the world together as what it is suppose to be...

One of the sweetest pictures of the e-mail.

We need to start paying attention and learn the way to real harmony... Let's save ourselves before we kill each other in cold blooded war.
